PSQH: The Podcast Episode 156 – Improving Sepsis Diagnosis in Critically Ill Patients

On episode 156 of PSQH: The Podcast, Dr. Thomas Carver, senior medical director for critical care services with Froedtert Hospital, talks about a new test that improves the diagnosis of sepsis in critically ill patients.

Dr. Carver is a general surgeon specializing in trauma, critical care and acute care surgery. He has been with the Medical College of Wisconsin as a faculty member since July 2013. In addition to providing exemplary care to his patients, Dr. Carver participates heavily in the education of students, residents and fellows. He also participates in numerous research projects as the principal investigator and as a mentor to students and residents.
