St. Jude Medical Center Chooses PerfectServe

St. Jude Medical Center, a 384-bed hospital in Fullerton, Calif., and member of St. Joseph Health System, recently selected PerfectServe’s intelligent clinical communication platform to standardize communications between physicians and nursing, pharmacy and ancillary teams.

St. Jude Medical center is one of Southern California’s most respected and technologically advanced hospitals and is PerfectServe’s first deployment with the 14-hospital St. Joseph Health System.

“We chose PerfectServe because it’s proven to increase physician satisfaction, improve care coordination, and recover valuable nursing time,” said Michael Marino, DO, chief medical officer at St. Jude Medical Center. “PerfectServe will give more than 700 physicians on our medical staff the flexibility to better manage medical communications according to each physician’s highly complex workflow, schedules, and preferences. No other service could meet our current and future needs to directly connect our physicians and clinicians.”

PerfectServe will enable a single, standardized process for staff at St. Jude Medical Center to quickly connect with physicians across the continuum of care. This will allow information to route faster, with greater accuracy, reliability and safety resulting in fewer communication breakdowns.
