HFAP Revises Standards With Ligature Risk Updates

To keep its standards as closely aligned with CMS as possible, the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP) has updated its Acute Care Manual with new prepublication requirements on removing ligature (hanging) risks in rooms meant for suicidal patients.
