The year’s largest celebration of healthcare IT takes place next week (Feb. 20-24) in Orlando. A number of us associated with PSQH will be in attendance, and copies of the Jan/Feb issue will be available in publication bins in the Convention Center (check the program guide for exact location). At least two of us will be “live tweeting” from HIMSS: @SusanCarr and @connectologist. Twitter offers a unique opportunity to listen in on trending topics and events, especially HIMSS, where attendees are tech-savvy and social media are a strong part of the program. In addition to following individuals reporting from the conference, you can establish a search for #HIMSS11 in any of the popular Twitter clients (Tweetdeck, Twitteriffic, ÜberTwitter) to see a live stream of news from attendees and organizations.
