Baxa Corporation Introduces DoseEdge™ TPN Pharmacy Workflow Management Software for TPN Compounding
Englewood, CO, March 30, 2010—Baxa Corporation, a leading provider of medical devices and systems that automate pharmacy operations and increase patient safety, announced the release of DoseEdge TPN, the industry’s first product for completely managing the workflow for automated TPN production. When used with Abacus® TPN calculation software and the ExactaMix™ 2400 Compounder, DoseEdge TPN provides automated support for the entire TPN dose preparation, documentation and inspection process.

In a prior announcement, Baxa launched significant upgrades to the DoseEdge Pharmacy Workflow Manager. This Baxa DoseEdge Pharmacy Workflow Manager upgrade extends DoseEdge capabilities beyond I.V. preparation to encompass liquid doses such as oral medications.
