Vice President – Quality & Risk Management

Tulane Medical Center, located in New Orleans, LA, is one of the most prestigious teaching, research, and medical centers in the country. We have an exceptional opportunity for a proven leader to be responsible for directing, planning, and organizing a multitude of Clinical and Support Service Departments, which includes: Quality & Risk Management, Peer Review, JCAHO, NCQA, Performance Improvement, Outcomes Research, Health Information Management, Infection Control, VA, Patient Relations and other departments as required. In this high profile role, you will oversee and prepare division and department budgets, monitor and control expenditures of allotted funds and operations for cost effectiveness; as well as participate in the strategic planning for the hospital.

Position requires:

• Master’s degree in Healthcare field
• RN licensure; state of Louisiana or eligible
• Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant health care experience (clinical experience required, infection control experience a plus)
• Certification in Risk Management by the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM), and Healthcare Quality by the National Association for Healthcare Quality preferred.
