• Use evidenced based practice to collaboratively redesign operations and clinical practice to improve patient outcomes
• Analyze data and research  best practices in the literature and at other organizations
• Work on interdisciplinary teams with nursing leaders, physicians and staff RNs
• Present process recommendations
• Work with the Education Department to put protocols into practice
• Analyze data to assess impact of changes
