Using Rapid Response Teams
to Save Lives

Rapid Response Teams (RRTs) have proven to decrease mortality rates in patients with deteriorating vital signs, by increasing planning, communication, and training to recognize decline in a patient's condition. Yet RRT implementation is a complex process. Whether you're considering implementing RRTs or just starting your implementation, you'll gain crucial insights from the Joint Commission Resources conference, Using Rapid Response Teams to Save Lives. This conference will be held on November 2-3, 2006, in Oakbrook Terrace, IL.

This program features experienced critical care practitioners who'll provide you with practical strategies, implementation suggestions and proven frameworks to gain buy-in from your staff. This conference will help you to:

  • Communicate the rationale and justification for implementing an RRT program and gain staff commitment

  • Conduct an organizational assessment

  • Determine the organizational resources needed to support the implementation process

  • Customize RRT practices used successfully at other hospitals to improve your organization's commitment to patient safety

Using Rapid Response Teams to Save Lives is the last conference for 2006 in the Chicago area. For more information or to register for this conference, click on link below: http://jcrinc.co.mansellgroup.net/UM/T.asp?A2557.25634.1930.1.117656
