Patient Safety and Quality Healthcare: e-News
Survey of EHR Trends & Usage

Have your voice heard by participating in the most comprehensive and widely-quoted annual survey of EHR trends and usage in the healthcare industry. The intent of the Survey of Electronic Health Record Trends and Usage is to provide the industry with a balanced and objective measure of current EHR implementations and meaningful insights into market directions. The survey accomplishes this by gathering responses from all types of healthcare providers including those in ambulatory and acute care settings, Integrated Delivery Networks, Managed Care Organizations and other settings. It assesses the implementation experiences and trends for a full array of applications and services related to EHRs.
The Medical Records Institute (MRI) will post the results for all of the questions in this survey on the MRI website by the first week in July for everyone in the industry to use at no charge. For those who are interested in a more detailed analysis of these results, a comprehensive report will be available in September 2006 at a modest cost.
